 | Home MakeoverWe hope to offer a home makeover to a single parent once or twice a year. This is for a family in need who could really use some help with their home. | Prison MinistryWe are currently offering the Alpha Program at the Matsqui Institution (Men's Medium Security Prison). There will most likely be openings for people to help out the next time (Spring 2008) Contact Kevin Boese for more information. |
| | Love AbbotsfordIn 1999, a small group from the Abbotsford Vineyard Church loaded up some hotdogs and pop and headed over to a second hand store on the undesirable side of town to serve the poor. Out of this action was born a vision to reach the city of Abbotsford and Canada by serving others with no strings attached. We call it Love Abbotsford. It’s a simple, straightforward approach to sharing God's love in practical ways.

| Love Your CityCites from across Canada have heard about what is happening in Abbotsford and have asked us to help them get started loving their city, so we’ve started a website called www.loveyourcity.com to share our resources with others. So far over 40 communities across Canada and the USA have done similar Love [Your City] events and we now have inquires from all over the world asking how to get started as a city. |
| | Outreach as A LifestyleOf course you don’t have to wait for one of our events to serve – look around your neighborhood, school, or workplace and ask God what you could do to serve the people there, showing the love of Jesus! We would really love for everyone to give it a try – especially if you’d like to get out into the community in some way to show God’s love, but don’t know how to take the first step. If you are interested in these or have an outreach idea that's on your heart, please contact us. |
